A Letter To Proton...
IT was really disappointing when a company what so called "The No 1 Malaysia's Car Manufacturer" has put this manner when liaising with the customer. It seems that they are very proud because most of Malaysian has chose their car today. So that, they can big-headed to their customer as if they are at bargainable side and we're not. Subsequent to this matter, I decided to write this letter to Proton.
To whom it may concern,
Pertaining to the matter above, I would like to give some complaints regarding to the Proton Service Center Plentong, Johor Bahru. I really disappoint with the service given by them. In my thought, Proton can be competitive car just because of its price even though it were sold at the other countries cheaper than Malaysia itself. It was because, behind the success of Proton, there is big support by government. The consequence here is, the imported brand car, has been charged high tax for them to sell out their car in our countries. The point here is, Proton shouldn't proud itself by forgetting the impact of their success was because of their customer.
This complaint comes when I call their service center to get my appointment. A lady has picked up the phone. At first, I asked her what business time are they applying, and she said, the service center close at 5.15 PM. And then, I said I would like to take the appointment at 4.00 PM. She said okay, then I added to make this service as major service. She replied that the major service take time up to two hours. I accept their time frame and changed the time to 3.00 PM. She replied again that she afraid at that time, the mechanic may have over load with their job and this will make their time frame will extended to the over time (after 5.15 PM). Then, she forward my call to other extension to check whether they can take my appointment. I'm waiting in few minutes, but nobody answer the call and I decided to quit the phone call. Is this how they entertain customer? Customer is willing to bargain the time (from 4.00 Pm to 3.00 PM), but the she treat me as if customer are the subordinate, and they are the boss. Are they thinking we are not working and can go to them at any time? I already willing to punch out earlier than my working hours, but they don't even think about this. Moreover, their service center are not running at Saturday and Sunday. Does Proton really care with their worker to not work after the business hour and very strict to obey the time frame? Or Proton can't afford to pay them over time?
A compliment to Kulis Auto at Pasir Gudang when they willing to take my appointment. If I'm not mistaken, their business hour is around 8.30 AM to 8.15 PM (Monday to Saturday) and 10.00 AM to 6.00 PM (Sunday). Does this really ease the customer to make the appointment? Of course it is. As conclusion, Proton shouldn't be a sweet talker when selling their car, but after sales service, they ignoring their customer.
Till here I wrote the complaints. I hope this information can help you to make further action. Hopefully, I can hear from you soon regarding this matter. Thank you.

S********n
